Dear visitor,

At Tripsdrill, the health of our guests and employees is a top priority for us. We are closely monitoring the spread of the novel coronoavirus Sars-CoV-2 in Germany and in Europe. On this page we would like to answer some of your frequently asked questions. We will keep you up to date with the latest on our website and social media pages (Facebook, Instagram). Due to the current, rapidly changing situation, we apologise for the fact that we are currently unable to respond to every individual enquiry by phone or by email.

Theme park

Is the Theme Park open?

What are the general rules I have to follow when I visit the Tripsdrill Theme Park?

  • Please keep your distance from others. Throughout the Park, please maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m from people you do not share a household with (including waiting areas, restaurants, shops etc.). Given the size of our premises, there should be no difficulty in maintaining the required minimum distance from others. If the recommended distance between people cannot be maintained on busy days, we reserve the right to temporarily stop more people from entering the Theme Park.
  • It is compulsory to wear a face mask for those above the age of 6. This applies to the entrance area, in buildings, waiting areas and restaurants. It is also required on all six roller coasters so that all rows of seats can be occupied and waiting times can be avoided. All other attractions can be enjoyed without a mask. If you forget your face mask, you can buy a disposable face mask at the ticket office (1.00 € each). Kindly note that visor helmets are not a permitted alternative to masks.
  • Please maintain good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette. We make sure that all sensitive areas, especially sanitary facilities and restaurants, are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
  • Please use our disinfectant dispensers. These are located at the entrace to the park as well as several other designated points in the Theme Park.
  • You can get takeaway food and drinks at our food and drink stations in the park. Seating areas near food and drink stations cannot be used in some cases.
  • In the Gasthaus zur Altweibermühle, we have to record the following details for every guest: Name, date and time of visit, contact details. All data will be deleted within 4 weeks. Please note that reduced staff numbers in the dining area could lead to longer waiting times.
  • The vinarium cellar remains closed. However, vinarium glasses can still be collected on the ground floor.
  • The "Eheanbahnungsinstitut" and the "Trillarium” museum remain closed.
  • Only a limited number of guests are allowed in all enclosed spaces (e.g. museums, shops, Altmänner-Mühle, Gaudi-Viertel).
  • For the safety of guests and staff, all participants must wear a face mask during our guided tours.
  • Guests, who are in contact with, or have come into contact with someone infected with SARS-CoV-2, are not allowed to visit the Theme Park if 14 days have not yet passed since their last contact with this person, or if they are displaying symptoms of a respiratory infection or a high temperature. If you are considered to be at high risk of infection, we advise you not to visit the Theme Park.

    Wildlife Park

    Is the Wildlife Park open?

What are the general rules I have to follow when I visit the Wildlife Park in order to reduce the spread of Coronavirus?

    • Please keep your distance from others. Throughout the Wildlife Park, please maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m from people you do not share a household with. If the recommended distance between people cannot be maintained on busy days, we reserve the right to temporarily stop more people from entering the Theme Park.

These are located at the entrance as well as at several other designated points in the Wildlife Park.
    • Animal feeding demonstrations and flight demonstrations will not take place until further notice, in order to avoid large crowds from forming.
    • The indoor areas of the Wildsau-Schenke and barbecue areas remain closed. If you want to recharge your batteries with food and drinks in between the attractions, you can get food and drink to take away at an outside stand.
    • For the safety of guests and staff, all participants must wear a face mask during our guided tours.
    • Guests, who are in contact with, or have come into contact with someone infected with SARS-CoV-2, are not allowed to visit the Wildlife Park if 14 days have not yet passed since their last contact with this person, or if they are displaying symptoms of a respiratory infection or a high temperature. Tickets and annual passes for the Theme Park and Wildlife Park

What are the terms and conditions for tickets and annual passes?

    • For the Theme Park and the Wildlife Park, we only offer day-specific online tickets. Existing valid day tickets (e.g. tickets for the Theme Park and/or Wildlife Park, tickets purchased through advance sales partners, free tickets, etc.) can be used within their period of validity without prior registration - however, a visitor registration must be completed at the cash desk. Children under 4 years of age get free entry. No advance notice is required for them either. Reduced tariffs e.g. for people with disabilities and birthday children and pregnant women (only discounted in the Theme Park) are only available at the cash desk after presenting the relevant document, also without prior notification. A subsequent reimbursement / reduction of already purchased online tickets is not possible.

What do annual pass holders have to consider?

    • Holders of annual passes also need a dated online admission ticket, which can be booked free of charge in the online shop. Children under 4 years of age get free entry and do not need an entry ticket.  If you have already booked an admission ticket but you are unable to make use of it, please let us know so that we can release these tickets for other visitors.
    • All annual passes were automatically extended by the number of days that the Theme Park / Wildlife Park was closed within the period of validity. This extension is noted in our system – you do not need a new annual pass card.
    • The purchase of new annual passes, the redemption of annual pass vouchers and the renewal are possible at the annual pass cash desks in front of the Theme Park and Wildlife Park.

Will my annual pass be affected?

    • Not at all! Your annual pass will automatically be extended by the number of days in its validity period that the Wildlife Park / Theme Park has been closed. This goodwill policy for the extension of the annual passes does not apply in our partner parks, as this cannot be technically implemented.
    • Current information on the partner parks that you can visit with your Tripsdrill annual pass can be found here.

Can I exchange my day-specific ticket if I don't get a test date?

    • Our day-specific tickets are generally excluded from exchange according to the terms and conditions and cannot be canceled. We therefore recommend making an appointment for the Corona test first and then purchasing a ticket in the online shop.

The result of my Corona test is positive. What happens to my day-specific ticket?

    • In this exceptional case it is possible to postpone the visit to another day. Please send us your order number as well as proof of the positive test. We will then block your ticket for the original day of your visit and send you a voucher code that you can later use in our online shop for a new ticket.

What happens if I own a day-specific ticket which couldn’t be redeemed as the park was closed?

    • If you own day-specific tickets but couldn’t redeem them, because the park had to remain closed, you will receive from us vouchers via e-mail. These can be converted in our online shop quickly and comfortably into new tickets for a day of your choice.

    Nature Resort

Is it possible to stay overnight in the Nature Resort again?

    • Overnight stays in the Nature Resort are possible.
    • Guests staying overnight in the Nature Resort get guaranteed access to the Wildlife Park on all days of their stay with their overnight bracelet. In addition, overnight guests receive discounted tickets for the Theme Park, which can be booked directly via the reservation. With these tickets you get guaranteed access to the Theme Park (at the check-in you choose the preferred day for visiting the Theme Park).

What happens if my quick test result is positive before arrival?

    • In this case, it is not possible to spend the night at the Tripsdrill Nature Resort. Please contact our guest service immediately and send us the positive Corona test result. You will then receive from us a voucher worth the booking made. The voucher can be used for a new booking at the Tripsdrill Nature Resort within three years.

What do I do if I was unable to arrive due to the closure?

    • Guests who have booked an overnight stay in the Nature Resort and were unable to arrive will shortly be contacted directly by our guest service.

What are the general rules I have to follow when I visit the Nature Resort in order to reduce the spread of Coronavirus?

    • Please keep your distance from others. Throughout the Nature Resort (including the reception), please maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m from people you do not share a household with. Given the size of our premises, there should be no difficulty in maintaining the required minimum distance from others.
    • It is compulsory to wear a face mask in the reception. If you forget your face mask, you can buy a disposable face mask at the reception desk (€1.00 each). Only medical masks are permitted, no everyday masks. We would like to point out that visors are not a valid alternative to medical mouth and nose masks.
    • Please maintain good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette. We make sure that all sensitive areas, especially sanitary facilities and restaurants, are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
    • Please use our disinfectant dispensers at the entrance to the Wildlife Park and Nature Resort.
    • Only a limited number of guests are allowed in the reception.
    • Guests, who are in contact with, or have come into contact with someone infected with SARS-CoV-2, are not allowed to visit the Nature Resort if 14 days have still not yet passed since their last contact with this person, or if they are displaying symptoms of a respiratory infection or a high temperature. If you are considered to be at high risk of infection, we advise you not to visit the Nature Resort.

    General questions

What if you are closed on my birthday?

    • At Tripsdrill, children aged 4-11 celebrating their birthday get free entry, and children above the age of 12 get a discount. We ask for your understanding that this rule only applies on the child’s actual birthday date. It is therefore not possible to defer this discount to a later day.

Please help us to ensure that all visitors have a wonderful and safe day with us! Because health always comes first!
