Coronavirus Information

Theme Park, Wildlife Park and Nature Resort

Currently the alert level II is in effect in Baden-Württemberg.
The admission to the Wildlife Park is for now only possible with a verification “vaccinated/ recovered/”.

Overnight guests in the Nature Resort and campers on our site need to present a proof (tested / vaccinated / recovered) at the reception until further notice. If you are not vaccinated or recovered, you are only in exceptional cases allowed to stay overnight in Tripsdrill (e.g. as business traveller). In this case a proof of a negative rapid test is sufficient.

The verification “vaccinated/ recovered/ tested” is only valid in relation to a identification document.

Pre-schoolers and students up to and including the age of 17 are freed from mandatory testing (please carry a student card with you).

If you are not able get a vaccination due to medical reasons (e.g. pregnant or nursing women), a corresponding verification is sufficient in addition to negative rapid test (not older than 24 hours and from a qualified station).

Dear visitor,

At Tripsdrill, the health of our guests and employees is a top priority for us. We are closely monitoring the spread of the novel coronoavirus Sars-CoV-2 in Germany and in Europe. On this page we would like to answer some of your frequently asked questions. We will keep you up to date with the latest on our website and social media pages (Facebook, Instagram). Due to the current, rapidly changing situation, we apologise for the fact that we are currently unable to respond to every individual enquiry by phone or by email.

What are the general rules I have to follow when I visit the Wildlife Park in order to reduce the spread of Coronavirus?

      • Throughout the Park, please maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m from visitors who are not part your group.
This minimum distance is mandatory in all waiting areas, restaurants, shops etc. If the recommended distance between people cannot be maintained on the pathways of the Park we would ask you to wear a facemask.
      • It is compulsory to wear a face mask for those above the age of 6 in the entrance area, in sanitary facilities and in other venues e.g. Wildsau-Schenke. Kindly note that only medical mouth and nose masks (no community masks or visor helmets) are permitted. If you forget your face mask, you can buy a disposable face mask at the ticket office (1.00 € each).
      • Please maintain good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette. We make sure that all sensitive areas, especially sanitary facilities and restaurants, are thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.
      • Please use our disinfectant dispensers. These are located at the entrance as well as at several other designated points in the Wildlife Park.
      • Animal feeding demonstrations and flight demonstrations take place again. For all spectators of the flight demonstrations it is compulsory to wear a face mask (medical mouth and nose masks). Please make here also sure, to keep a minimum distance of 1.5m from visitors who are not part of your group.
      • The indoor areas of the Wildsau-Schenke and barbecue areas remain closed. If you want to recharge your batteries with food and drinks , you can get food and drinks to take away at an outside stand.
      • For the safety of guests and staff, all participants must wear a face mask during our guided tours.
      • Guests, who are in contact with, or have come into contact with someone infected with SARS-CoV-2, are not allowed to visit the Wildlife Park if 14 days have not yet passed since their last contact with this person, or if they are displaying symptoms of a respiratory infection or a high temperature. If you are considered to be at high risk of infection, we advise you not to visit the Wildlife Park.

Tickets and annual passes for the Theme Park and Wildlife Park

What are the terms and conditions for tickets and annual passes?

      • For the Theme Park and the Wildlife Park, we only offer day-specific online tickets. Existing valid day tickets (e.g. tickets for the Theme Park and/or Wildlife Park, tickets purchased through advance sales partners, free tickets, etc.) can be used within their period of validity without prior registration - however, a visitor registration must be completed at the cash desk. Children under 4 years of age get free entry. No advance notice is required for them either. Reduced tariffs e.g. for people with disabilities and birthday children and pregnant women (only discounted in the Theme Park) are only available at the cash desk after presenting the relevant document, also without prior notification. A subsequent reimbursement / reduction of already purchased online tickets is not possible.

What do annual pass holders have to consider?

      • All annual passes were automatically extended by the number of days that the Theme Park / Wildlife Park was closed within the period of validity. This extension is noted in our system – you do not need a new annual pass card.
      • The purchase of new annual passes, the redemption of annual pass vouchers and the renewal are possible at the annual pass cash desks in front of the Theme Park and Wildlife Park.

Will my annual pass be affected?

      • Not at all! Your annual pass will automatically be extended by the number of days in its validity period that the Wildlife Park / Theme Park has been closed. This goodwill policy for the extension of the annual passes does not apply in our partner parks, as this cannot be technically implemented.
      • Current information on the partner parks that you can visit with your Tripsdrill annual pass can be found here.

      Can I exchange my day-specific ticket ?

      • Our day-specific tickets are generally excluded from exchange according to the terms and conditions and cannot be canceled.

What happens if I own a day-specific ticket which couldn’t be redeemed as the park was closed?

      • If you own day-specific tickets but couldn’t redeem them, because the park had to remain closed, you will receive from us vouchers via e-mail. These can be converted in our online shop quickly and comfortably into new tickets for a day of your choice.

Is it possible to stay overnight in the Nature Resort again?

      • The same applies for students over 18 years, that are not vaccinated or recovered. Pre-schoolers and students are freed from mandatory testing (please carry a student card with you).

      • At Tripsdrill, children aged 4-11 celebrating their birthday get free entry, and children above the age of 12 get a discount. We ask for your understanding that this rule only applies on the child’s actual birthday date. It is therefore not possible to defer this discount to a later day.
