Dear guests of the Theme Park and Wildlife Park,

You are looking forward to your visit and we want to make your stay as pleasant and eventful as possible. Clear agreements on mutual rights and obligations, which we have made with you in the form of the following provisions. These become the contractual basis of the contract of use that comes into being through the purchase of admission tickets (passes). They apply to visits to both the Theme Park and the Wildlife Park, hereinafter both together referred to as “the park” for reasons of simplification. We therefore ask you to read and observe them carefully!

1.    Parking
1.1. Parking your vehicle in our car parks does not establish a duty of care or surveillance relationship.

1.2. For motor-homes and campers staying beyond Tripsdrill’s opening hours, specially designated areas are available. Registration at the Natur-Resort reception and payment of a fee (including for use of sanitary facilities) is mandatory.

1.3. The rules and signs of the Highway Code (STVO) apply in our car parks. 

1.4. To ensure smooth traffic flow in this area, you must observe the instructions of our attendants precisely. Please only park your vehicle within the designated parking spaces.

1.5. When leaving your vehicle, ensure that doors, boot, windows, and sunroof are closed and that no items are left visible or animals remain inside.

1.6. We accept no liability for damage to your vehicle, particularly those caused by extraordinary events such as storms, hail, explosions and fire, or for theft or damage caused by third parties, unless a culpable breach of duty on our part was the cause or a contributing factor.

2.    Admission rights
2.1. Access to the park, to individual facilities, or to our events is only permitted during opening hours and via marked entrances upon presentation of a valid admission ticket/e-ticket/pass. Once used for entry, the ticket is non-transferable.

2.2. Regarding contract conclusion or park visits by minors: 

a. We are entitled, but not obliged, to deny minors access to the park or conclusion of the user agreement if not accompanied by a legal guardian or supervisor. 

b. Where we allow minors, especially those with an annual pass, access to the park, we may assume consent from the legal guardian or responsible adult unless an explicit objection is made.

c. In the event that such access is granted, no contractual or statutory supervisory relationship is established, in particular not pursuant to § 832 of the German Civil Code (BGB). The same applies to minors accompanied by legal guardians or supervising adults. The statutory liability of legal guardians or supervisors and the resulting duties are expressly pointed out.

2.3. You are required to provide truthful information about the age of children in your care when purchasing tickets and using facilities and attractions. In cases of justified doubt - especially when using facilities and attractions with minimum age requirements - we are entitled to request proof. If such proof is refused or cannot be provided, we may exercise the rights set out in these terms of use.

2.4. The management, represented by supervisory staff, may make the conclusion of the usage agreement for groups dependent on the appointment of a responsible supervisor. This supervisor, in addition to the individual group members, has an independent duty to ensure compliance with these park rules by the group members.

2.5. Once the park has been exited, re-entry is only possible upon presentation of a valid admission ticket/e-ticket/pass and by showing the hand stamp that guests must request at the entrance before leaving the park.

2.6. Regarding the validity of admission tickets:

a. Date-specific day passes entitle the holder to one-time entry to the park on the day of the visit.

b. Date-specific 2-day passes entitle the holder to park entry on the first visit day and for a second visit, which must occur no later than 10 calendar days after the first visit. 2-day passes are non-transferable and only valid with identification.

c. The above rules for day and 2-day passes apply regardless of the time of ticket purchase and regardless of the time of entry (they are not valid for 24 hours).

d. Annual passes entitle the holder to multiple visits within 12 months from the date of issue.

e. Date-specific day passes, 2-day passes, promotional and group passes, and event tickets are valid only on the day of the visit. If the pass or ticket is not redeemed, it expires and the customer has no entitlement to visit on another day or to receive any monetary compensation.

2.7. The entitlement to park entry with complimentary tickets, for which neither the visitor nor a third party has paid a fee, lapses upon expiry of the validity date stated on the complimentary ticket. 

2.8. The contractual right to park entry with tickets that have a specific validity period expires, in accordance with the above provisions, at the end of the 3rd calendar year following the year in which the pass was purchased.

a. Admission tickets purchased at the entrance are valid only on the date of purchase. For all others, the stated validity date applies. Returns are not possible.

b. If date-specific day or 2-day passes are presented for park entry after their validity has expired (or, for 2-day passes, after the period for the second visit has lapsed), a new pass must be purchased. The value of the expired item will be credited towards the new pass. For a credit to be applied, contact must be made at least 3 working days in advance (onlineshop@tripsdrill.de). 

c. The purchaser reserves the right to dispute the amount credited.

3.    General safety provisions
3.1. Dogs are welcome in the Erlebnispark but must be kept on a lead. They must be supervised by their owner or a trusted person throughout the entire park visit. Additionally, the police ordinance on keeping dangerous dogs (fighting dog regulation) applies. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the Wildparadies under any circumstances. Dogs are also not allowed on ride attractions or in specially designated areas of the park. A dog hygiene set must be purchased and carried from the entrance.

3.2. Fire safety regulations within the park must be strictly observed. In particular, lighting fires is prohibited except in designated areas (barbecue areas).

3.3. The park and its facilities are smoke-free zones. Smoking (including e-cigarettes, vaping, shishas, etc.) is not permitted anywhere on the premises - especially within attractions, their queue areas, buildings, and the entire Wildparadies. Smoking is only allowed in specially designated smoking areas.

3.4. The possession and/or consumption of drugs or other intoxicants is strictly prohibited.

3.5. Visitors must remain on the pathways or within designated areas.

3.6. Please understand that not all attractions are suitable for every visitor. Restrictions indicated on signs are in place for your safety and must be strictly observed. Instructions given by park staff or on signs must be followed in your own interest.

3.7. The possession and carrying of weapons (including replicas) or dangerous objects (guns, knives, chains, knuckledusters, etc.) is forbidden on park grounds.

3.8. Wilful noise disturbances and the loud use of electronic devices are not permitted.

3.9. The following wheeled items may not be brought into or used in the park: Bicycles, tricycles, ride-on toy cars (e.g. Bobby-Cars), city scooters, kick-boards, e-scooters, and similar items. An exception applies to tricycles with a push handle. Pull-along carts ("Bollerwagen") may be brought into the park.

4.    Refusal of entry to the park and exclusion from use
4.1. Bringing alcoholic beverages of any kind into the park is prohibited. Likewise, wearing conspicuous costumes and masks is not permitted (except protective masks worn for medical reasons). 

4.2. Termination of the usage agreement by immediate expulsion from the park is permitted if the user behaves in breach of contract to such an extent - particularly by violating these park rules or disobeying staff instructions - that immediate termination and expulsion are justified. Termination and expulsion require a verbal warning, unless the breach is objectively so serious that immediate expulsion is reasonably justified.

4.3. Park staff are authorised and empowered to exercise the right of domicile and, in particular, to issue warnings, terminations, and expulsions from the park.

5.    Use of facilities and attractions, user liability for improper use, items brought along
5.1. The facilities in the park are available for your use in accordance with the specific conditions of use applicable to each individual facility or attraction.

5.2. Each user is obliged, taking into account the usage instructions, to assess their personal (especially health-related) suitability for using the facility or attraction. This also applies to personal clothing, hairstyle, objects, aids, or similar.

5.3. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to carry loose items on the rides. In particular, cameras, mobile phones, keys, and similar loose items must be safely stored before the ride. We are only liable for deposited items if the cause of damage lies within our area of responsibility.

5.4. For safety reasons, the operating staff is entitled to exclude individuals, for example due to height, body shape, physical or mental limitations or disabilities, from using certain attractions. Such exclusion serves solely to protect your health and does not constitute discrimination.

5.5. The instructions of the operating staff must be followed. If you negligently disregard the usage instructions or operating manuals as well as the directions of the operating staff, the operating staff may exclude you from using the attraction without this giving rise to any entitlement to compensation. In the case of repeated or particularly serious violations, the usage contract may be terminated and you may be expelled from the park in accordance with clause 4.2 of these terms. The above provision also applies accordingly if you attempt to push ahead in a queue.

5.6. Playgrounds, fitness equipment, or petting zoos may be used at your own risk and within the limits of your own self-assessment (physical fitness, skill, courage). In the case of minors, this assessment is the responsibility of the legal guardian or supervising adult. 

5.7. You are liable for all damages culpably caused by disregarding the user instructions, violating the instructions of the staff, or through wilful damage.

6. Assistance in emergencies
6.1. Our contractual obligations do not include the provision of paramedics, medical staff, or corresponding facilities. Nevertheless, in the event of illness, accidents, or other emergencies, a paramedic is available at certain times.

6.2. Insofar as, in individual cases, especially during special events, medically trained emergency personnel or doctors are on standby, they provide their services under their own responsibility and are neither our vicarious agents nor assistants.

7. Failure of equipment, temporary restrictions on use, limitations of liability
7.1. Due to necessary maintenance work, official inspections, repairs, weather conditions, or force majeure, individual facilities may be unavailable or not available for the entire duration of the opening hours. In such cases, no refund of admission fees will be provided, including partial refunds.

7.2. We are liable for claims arising from damage caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents in accordance with statutory provisions.In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which is a prerequisite for the proper execution of the contract and on the observance of which the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), due to slight negligence by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents, liability is limited to the amount of foreseeable damage typical for the contract at the time it was concluded. 

8. Film and photo recordings
8.1. Film and photo recordings take place in Tripsdrill. Wherever possible, the areas/attractions are marked accordingly.

8.2. The entire park area is under video surveillance in the publicly accessible zones for your safety. Sensitive areas such as sanitary facilities are excluded from video surveillance. Recorded material is deleted immediately once it is no longer necessary for the intended purpose or if legitimate interests of the affected person outweigh retention.

8.3. In certain attractions, photographs are taken and offered to the user for purchase, displayed on screens at the exit of the attraction. There is however no obligation to purchase. These images are deleted daily and are not used for any other purpose.

8.4. Photography and filming within the park itself, i.e. outside of the rides and facilities, is generally permitted but only on the paths and areas accessible to visitors. Photo, film, and video recordings inside the rides - especially during operation/use - are prohibited. Exceptions require our written approval and signing of a liability waiver, which in the case of minors must be signed by their legal guardian and cannot be substituted by general supervisory or accompanying persons (e.g. teachers, tour guides).

8.5. Any planned publication must be approved in advance by the management.

9. Damage reports

Should you suffer damage through no fault of your own, you are required to report it to our management immediately and, if possible, before leaving the park premises or car park. This also applies if there is reason to believe that an incident might lead to damage at a later time.

10. Advertising and offering goods and services, demonstrations
Advertising on the premises and in the car parks of the park, as well as offering goods and services, is only permitted with prior written approval from the management. This also applies to conducting surveys, counts, and political or other demonstrations.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction
11.1. The place of performance is our registered office. The entire legal and contractual relationship between you and us shall be governed exclusively by German law.

11.2. If, in the event of legal action brought by you against us abroad, the question of our liability is not judged under German law, then solely German law shall apply to the legal consequences, in particular regarding the nature, scope, and amount of customer claims.

11.3. You may only bring legal action against us at our registered office.

11.4. For our legal actions against park users, the user’s place of residence shall be decisive, unless a special statutory place of jurisdiction applies (in particular the place where the tort occurred). For legal actions against users or contractual partners of the usage contract who are merchants, legal entities under public or private law, or persons whose residence or usual place of abode is abroad, or whose residence or usual place of abode is unknown at the time the action is filed, the place of jurisdiction shall be our registered office.

11.5. The above provisions shall not apply if and to the extent that non-negotiable provisions of the European Union or other international provisions applicable to the contract are applicable.

12. Final provisions
12.1.  In all other respects, the specific notices apply, and for conference and/or overnight guests, our guest accommodation and usage terms and conditions apply additionally.

12.2. Should any of the above provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions or the overall legal validity of the usage agreement.

12.3. Agreements deviating from these terms of use are only valid if made expressly and specifically for that purpose. Park staff are generally not authorised to conclude such agreements.

In Germany’s first Theme Park, our technicians are on hand to guarantee your safety everyday. Every attraction is checked and inspected each morning using complex safety checks, and all because your safety is absolutely paramount to us! An information sign is located next to every ride detailing the respective safety regulations for that particular attraction. These rules are put in place in the interest of your safety, because we want to ensure that you are able to enjoy an unforgettable day in Tripsdrill without having to worry about anything. The age and height restrictions for each attraction are determined by the TÜV certificate. You can find a summary of these on the map of the park or at the entrance of each attraction.

People with disabilities

People with special physical characteristics

The design of the seats and safety equipment on our rides requires that all passengers be able to sit comfortably and safely. Certain physical characteristics, such as a very large body size or particularly long limbs, can make participation difficult or even completely impossible, despite the passenger being of the appropriate height or age. Some major attractions have a test seat at the entrance.

Pregnant women

Please understand that some rides are not suitable or permitted for pregnant women for health reasons. These include roller coasters, shot rides, and attractions with high torque due to the forces involved. We therefore ask you to carefully consider the use of these attractions for the well-being of mother and child.

Photography and filming

Would you like to capture your visit with photos and videos? Photography and filming outside the rides and facilities is generally permitted – however, for safety reasons, cameras and cell phone recordings with or without selfie sticks are prohibited in the attractions. Written permission must be obtained from the administration for video recordings during the ride. In this case, professional securing of the equipment (e.g., with a chest strap) is also mandatory.
