Hals über Kopf
"Hals über Kopf" into a daring rollercoaster adventure.
The roller coaster is a newly developed type of suspended roller coaster with no less than four rollovers. The course of the ride crosses the course of the "Volldampf" family roller coaster several times. The two roller coasters engage in a breathtaking competition.
The theming of "Hals-über-Kopf" goes back to the "Seven Swabians" - a tale that has been rooted in Swabia for hundreds of years. The Seven Swabians once set themselves the goal of tracking down a terrifying monster on Lake Constance. Armed with a huge lance, they embarked on a daring adventure. However, the monster turned out to be a hare, which hopped away in fright as the Seven Swabians rushed towards it.
The roller coaster is therefore called "Hals über Kopf" (head over heels): with this name, we are not only referring to the Seven Swabians' rash heroic tales, but also to the four so-called overhead elements (rollovers), which are one of the unique features of this new prototype.
