Volldampf
The family roller coaster not only goes forwards, but also backwards.
The course of the ride intersects several times with the course of the "Hals-über-Kopf" suspended roller coaster. The two roller coasters engage in a breathtaking competition.
When designing the family roller coaster, we were inspired by one of the most famous Swabian folk songs: Namely from the "Swabian Railway". The song, which was written at the end of the 19th century, sings about a turbulent journey on the Swabian Railway: From Stuttgart via Ulm and Biberach to Durlesbach. The railroad line is now fictitiously continued to Tripsdrill. The roller coaster is designed in the style of a 19th century steam locomotive with several compartments. The name "Volldampf" (full steam ahead) was chosen for the attraction to match this.
